Scenery

Morzine is a wonderful place to holiday during the summer weeks not only because of the warm, sunny climate but because there’s as much to do in July and August as there is throughout the winter ski season.

Unlike many purpose built ski resorts Morzine and Les Gets don’t shut down between May and December. After a brief ‘inter-season’ during May and early June the ski lifts are re-opened for downhill cycle enthusiasts and hikers. The restaurants and bars adapt their menus for summer sunshine and the hire shops swap their ski gear for cycling and water sports equipment.

There are endless outdoor activities to enjoy including horse riding, cycling and mountain biking, golf, tennis, white water sports, canoeing, climbing, fishing and of course the beautiful mountain walks.

Chalet la Cote is situated at the end of a lovely tree lined valley with stunning views of the mountains opposite. It is a great base for your holiday providing excellent access to the resort centers, lakesides and golf courses but giving you a chance to ‘get away from it all’ and sit enjoying the long hours of sunshine on the terrace in peaceful serenity.
